IDDF Named Lectures
The IDDF is pleased to offer two distinctive named lectures that promote excellence in academic research and public education and clinical research in gastroenterology.
JOSEPH SUNG DISTINGUISHED LECTURE
Professor Joseph Sung is the founding director of the IDD at CUHK. Under his leadership, the IDD has developed into a multidisciplinary powerhouse that generates world-class research and publications. The Joseph Sung Lecture was established in 2011 in the inaugural IDDF, and the Lecture’s speakers are exemplary models who excel in academic research and demonstrate team-building leadership.
TZU-LEUNG HO LECTURE
Dr Tzu-leung Ho, the current director of The S. H. Ho Foundation, is dedicated to advancing medical science education. To acknowledge the Foundation’s valuable and generous contributions to CUHK, the Tzu-leung Ho Lecture was established in 2013. The Lecture engaged leaders in gastroenterology who made significant contributions to public education and clinical research in gastroenterology.
DR S H HO MEMORIAL LECTURE
We are delighted that The S.H. Ho Foundation has become a patron of the IDDF. In memory of Dr Ho Sin Hang, the founder of the Foundation, the Tzu-leung Ho Lecture is renamed as Dr S H Ho Memorial Lecture in 2020, and it will continue to focus on public education and clinical research in gastroenterology.
